Popular choices: trail mix, biltong, energy bars, dried fruit, sweets, and your favourite coffee or tea.

Packing Tips

Waterproofing

Use dry bags or ziplock bags for electronics and clothes. River crossings and rain are possible!

Footwear

Break in your hiking shoes before the trip. Bring sandals for river crossings and camp.

Sun Protection

The coastal sun is intense. Bring sunscreen, a hat, and long sleeves for protection.

Pack Light

You'll carry your own bag for 10-17 km per day. Every gram counts!
